CHNLSYNC · the broker model, in plain language

How we work and how we're paid

Trust is the product. This page states plainly what CHNLSYNC is, where our provider access comes from, how we make money, and the lines the advisor will never cross.

What CHNLSYNC is

CHNLSYNC is your customer-facing technology advisor for recurring business technology — connectivity, UCaaS, contact center, networking, and adjacent services. You describe your environment and the problem; we turn it into an evaluated, human-reviewed sourcing path before any vendor sales call happens.

SYNC, the advisor you chat with, is the productized front half of that human brokerage. It does the work that scales — intake, environment memory, education, drafting — and a named CHNLSYNC operator reviews anything that carries consequence.

Where our provider access comes from

We work through a Technology Services Distributor — one of the largest in North America — which gives our team access to provider agreements, research and quoting tools, engineering resources, order support, and commission administration. You work with CHNLSYNC; the provider you select supplies and bills the service.

That portfolio is broad, but it is not the whole market. When the right answer for you sits outside it, we say so.

How we're paid

On eligible provider-funded transactions, CHNLSYNC does not charge you a separate advisory fee. If you purchase, the selected provider pays CHNLSYNC a commission through our distributor. That compensation is embedded in the provider's channel economics — it is not a markup we add to your invoice.

Commissions create a real incentive, and we manage it in the open rather than denying it: we disclose material commercial relationships, you set the evaluation criteria, and you approve the provider quote and contract. Nothing is purchased, signed, or committed on your behalf.

What SYNC will never do

It will never quote or estimate pricing — real numbers come only from actual supplier quotes after broker review.

It will never name or recommend a specific supplier on its own — supplier names reach you only through an operator-approved disclosure with an audit trail.

It will never contact a vendor, share your information with one, or take any outbound action without your explicit approval.

Your data

Your environment file is built only from facts you provide, each stored with its source and confidence — you can see and correct all of it. Buyer identity and free-text data are handled per our privacy policy, and conversations are used to serve your case, not to train public models.
